The LTR program includes four main areas:

1. Wealthy citizens of the world

2. Wealthy pensioners

For people over 50 years of age with passive annual income from $80,000.If the income is lower ($40,000+), additional investments in the country's economy of $250,000 or more will be required.

3. Remote specialists (Work-from-Thailand)

It is intended for employees of large foreign companies.

  • Revenue: from $80,000 over the past 2 years.
  • Employer: A public company or private firm with revenues of $50 million or more in 3 years.

4. Highly qualified specialists

For experts in IT, medicine, energy and other strategic industries. The main condition is to work for a Thai company or research institute.

Important design nuances

Medical insurance: A prerequisite for everyone is at least coverage $50,000 in Thailand or a bank deposit of $100,000 or more.

Real estate as a credit: Only properties owned (Freehold) or long-term leased (Leasehold) in the applicant's name are considered as investments. Real estate per company is not included in this program.

Dates: BOI officially reviews the application in 20 working days, but taking into account the collection and refinement of documents, the process often takes 20 working days. 2-3 months.
